We offer fertility services using complementary therapies. Our professionals have been specially trained in these specific therapies. These work alongside any medical tests, treatment and processes, providing treatments that are holistic and tailored for you.

Reflexology

Our qualified reflexologist is trained in techniques to support your fertility journey. A full discussion is carried out about your health and lifestyle history as well as analysing any fertility tests you may have already had prior to starting any treatment. This gives us a clear treatment pathway for you. We work with individuals as well as couples. Reflexology techniques can work with your menstrual cycle by using techniques to encourage regulation and hormone balance. It can support and encourage sperm and egg quality. There are different reflexology protocols to support any assisted conception processes such as ICSI and IVF; we can support you after any particular invasive testing you may have been offered and accepted. Together with these reflexology techniques and protocols, plus an individualised treatment plan which includes lifestyle advice, we hope to make you feel supported during this time. Acupuncture

A popular choice for pregnancy preparation and fertility support, acupuncture treats you holistically, including the patterns of your menstrual cycle, lifestyle and general wellbeing. This treatment is individually tailored and can work well alongside IVF and medical treatment.

Acupuncture works with energy flow in the body which supports our systems to function. Physical or emotional events can cause various symptoms and contribute to dysfunction or ‘blockages’ which can be balanced with the use of acupuncture. Our specialist midwife will provide a full consultation and individual treatment plan ensuring you are fully informed about how acupuncture can support your journey. A. Acupuncture and Reflexology both work with the menstrual cycle and consider the body’s flow of energy, presentation of symptoms and your general health. A full consultation will enable a bespoke treatment plan

Can your fertility services be combined with medical fertility treatments?

Absolutely, you may have even been referred via a fertility clinic. We work alongside any medical investigations and treatments including IVF to support your fertility journey.

Can you provide support for unexplained infertility?

A. Yes. We carry out a full consultation to look at individual circumstances and situations by establishing a full medical and lifestyle history. This then contributes to a future treatment plan. Our trained specialist midwife therapists can advise and refer (where appropriate) as necessary.

I can not recommend Natalie enough-I started having reflexology from 24 weeks as a way to keep myself balanced and reduce stress after a complicated first pregnancy where my first baby came 6 weeks early by emergency section- not only did she keep me calm and focused during my pregnancy, I managed to get to 38 weeks but I also managed to have a normal delivery after a very quick 4 hour labour, which I am confident was made possible after Natalie did 3 sessions of labour preparation!! And I can't wait to start a having postnatal reflexology to keep me stress free what with having a toddler and newborn at home!

Katie is absolutely amazing, I would have no hesitation in recommending a hypnobirthing course with her. As first time parents both me & my husband were quite nervous about what to expect when the time came to birth our child. After attending the hypnobirthing course taken by Katie, we came away with an extensive amount of knowledge not only about labour but also our rights as parents & how to advocate for ourselves.

I can honestly say all my nerves about labour had disappeared & I felt super confident & actually excited about putting all that I had learnt in to practice as & when the time came for our little one to arrive. Katie is not only a fantastic hypnobirthing teacher but also a beautiful caring individual who was there for me both pre & post birth answering all my million and one questions & helping me with the transition in to the 4th trimester.

Whilst the midwives I had during my labour were fantastic, if I had the choice I would have loved for Katie to have been my midwife.

Katy is such a friendly midwife with so much knowledge around alternative therapies in pregnancy. My baby was breech throughout my pregnancy so at 35 weeks Katy discussed using moxibustion. As a midwife myself I did research on using moxibustion and found a lot of positive outcomes. When using the sticks (moxibustion) my baby was very active and I felt as if she was trying to turn. At our 37 week scan the baby had turned and we were delighted! I highly recommend trying them.
