Reflexology

Discover the soothing effects of reflexology, a complementary therapy that can enhance your pregnancy journey. While it is important to consult with your healthcare provider before adding any complementary therapies, many expectant parents have found reflexology to be a valuable addition to their care routine. Reflexology can help with stress reduction by releasing tension and promoting relaxation. Aiding sleep to help reduce those interruptions at night. Improving mood and promoting general wellbeing to boost your overall health and vitality as you nurture your growing baby. Preparation for birth techniques to encourage relaxation and thus allowing oxytocin levels to flow through your body in preparation for the birthing process. Prices start from £30

Pregnancy massage

This is a popular treatment and most people find massage a good option for relaxation or a ‘treat’. Massage therapy can be so much more, it can be incredibly effective at relieving pain, reducing stress and anxiety and improving sleep, both in pregnancy and post birth. Prices start from £35

Aromatherapy

We combine pregnancy massage with aromatherapy (massage available without oils if preferred), we aim to target any symptoms you are having and provide you with a personal aromatherapy blend to use at home (all included in massage price). Prices start from £20

Near the end of your pregnancy?

Past your due date?

Past your due date? Did you know it’s really normal to go over due. If you’re looking for ways to feel more comfortable or to help labour begin you’re in the right place. All of our complementary therapies used in pregnancy are safe to continue past your due date. Some of them can help labour to start.

A combination of therapies for birth preparation includes treatments from 32 weeks of pregnancy to reduce stress hormones and facilitate labour stimulating hormones when your body is ready. This can include therapies and birth planning/antenatal sessions to ensure you feel physically and emotionally prepared for birth.

An individualised care package will be provided after full consultation and review of any medical/pregnancy history. Depending on your requirements or preferences a combination of reflex zone therapy, aromatherapy and acupressure is used to promote labour when full term to avoid medical induction. Prices start from £55.

Maybe you have an induction of labour booked and you'd like to find out more? We have our online induction of labour course that talks through the stages of induction.

Is your baby breech? (Bottom first)

If your baby is breech (bottom down) in the later stages of pregnancy you may be offered a further scan (to check baby’s position) or medical intervention to help turn the baby. You will likely be offered a planned Caesarean section to birth your baby.

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese technique to turn a breech baby to a head-down position. Heat applied by use of moxa sticks (rolled dried herbs) warm specific energy channels and trigger a hormonal change and increase the baby’s activity encouraging the turning of position. Research has shown that moxibustion has about a 66% success rate, as successful as a medical ECV.

A full consultation is needed to ensure that moxibustion is a suitable treatment for you and your baby and is the right option for you. Information on the treatment will be provided and guidance for after care. Prices start from £45

Want to remember your bump?

Bump casting is the absolute must-do for those that love their bump and want to treasure it long after your baby is born. We are happy for your partner, friends or the baby’s siblings to come and get involved too, it can be a really great way to make this time even more fun!

We will cast your bump (from 35-38 weeks is ideal) and you can take on the day or leave with us for us to turn into a beautiful bump bowl.

Bowls can be used for newborn photo shoots, decorating the nursery or as a piece of art in your home. Prices start from £55
