Home Birth Care Package

Birth in your own home is a safe and relaxing option for you, your family and your baby. For most people, Home Birth is the safest and most optimum place to birth. Being in an environment that is familiar and safe can enhance the progress of your labour and birth, reduce the chances of needing medical intervention, as well as improve your birth experience overall. In your own home everything is in your control. It’s your space and you get to decide who will support you.

Hospital Birth Care Package

A hospital may be the place that you feel most comfortable giving birth. Or you may have been recommended a birth in hospital and you feel that this is the right option for you. The hospital birth care package ensures that you can have me with you, as your own midwife, whom you know and trust, both during early labour at home and when you’re ready to transfer into hospital. I will stay with you to support you and to advocate on your behalf throughout.

Anne will be on call from 37 weeks of pregnancy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until the time that your labour begins. If home birth is your preference, Anne can provide care in the comfort of your own home for your entire birth experience. If hospital birth is what feels right for you then Anne can accompany you during your birth and offer clinical advice and support.
