IN-PERSON SERVICES

At The Midwives Circle and Wellness Centre Ltd, we believe in openness and trust.

This page sets out our terms and conditions for our in-person services and is here for transparency.

Services include: antenatal and hypnobirthing courses, private educational sessions, therapies, acupuncture, massage, reflexology, vitamin therapy, and other wellness services delivered in person.

Booking & Payment

  • Individual treatments and therapies: Payment may be made at the time of booking or immediately after your appointment.

  • Courses and workshops (e.g. antenatal or hypnobirthing): Full payment is required before the course start date to confirm your place.

  • Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received (for courses) or upon attendance (for pay-after treatments).

Cancellations by You

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: full refund or option to reschedule (subject to availability).

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: non-refundable (reschedule may be offered at our discretion).

  • Non-attendance: no refund and not reschedulable.

Cancellations by Us

If we need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or a rescheduled appointment at no extra cost.

Refunds

Refunds are only available in line with the above policy. Once a service has been delivered, refunds cannot be issued.

Health & Safety

  • Please tell us about relevant health conditions, allergies, or pregnancy-related concerns before your appointment.

  • Some therapies may not be suitable — we may adapt or decline a treatment if it is unsafe.

  • Our services are complementary and educational, not a substitute for NHS care or urgent medical attention.

Professional Standards

We adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct. This includes respecting your confidentiality, working in partnership with you, and always putting safety first. If safeguarding concerns arise, we may be legally required to share information with appropriate agencies.

Liability

We provide services with care, skill, and professionalism. However, we cannot be held liable for injury, loss, or damage that occurs as a result of participation, except where required by law. Attendance is at your own risk.
